Our Altar Server Ministry is made up of a group of young people who serve the Lord and the faith community by fulfilling many important liturgical functions. To serve, you must be at least 10 years of age and entering the 5th grade up to 12th grade. You must have received your First Holy Communion. You should be attending Mass regularly and have a strong desire to serve at the Altar of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. As an Altar Server, you are called to assist the priest, making worship more reverent, efficient and beautiful. While your actions may be visible to the public, you are not a performer. An Altar Server must be humble, sincere, careful, and reverent. He or she must work well as a team. Altar Servers must be trained to perform their functions in a correct and orderly manner.
